Breast Augmentation

Capsular contracture is often thought to be one of the most common complications of breast augmentation. Capsular contraction occurs when scar tissue forms around the implant; it is usually induced by a low-skilled plastic surgeon or from certain surgical techniques. While many plastic surgeons believe capsular contracture is a risk that comes with breast implants post procedure, Dr. Asaadi does not believe this is true and that capsular contracture is completely avoidable when breast augmentation is performed correctly.
Capsular contracture does not have to do with implants, but how breast augmentation is performed. In fact, Dr. Asaadi has performed breast augmentations with a 100% success rate of no capsular contracture or implant leakage by using saline implants and the inframammary incision to accomplish successful breast augmentation surgeries at his NJ practice.
What Is Capsular Contracture?
Capsular contracture occurs when excessive scar tissue forms around the breast implant. This can cause the implant to harden and in some cases create a visual deformity as well as pain. This defect usually occurs during the healing process, or can occur at any time post procedure. Capsular contracture jeopardizes the aesthetic improvements of your breast enhancement, but it’s not typically a risk to your health.
What Are Saline Breast Implants?
Saline-filled implants are made out of a sterile saltwater solution, in which a silicone shell is inserted into the breast and then filled to its desired volume with saline-fluid. Saline has the consistency of water, which’ll provide natural-looking and satisfying results! Dr. Asaadi will only use saline breast implants during his breast augmentation procedures. Saline implants help reduce asymmetries, as well as enhance breast contour and shape.
Benefits Of The Inframammary Incision Approach
When a breast augmentation is performed through the areola, it increases the risk of capsular contracture. Dr. Asaadi only uses inframammary incision for breast augmentation surgery to reduce the risk of capsular contracture. The inframammary incision is discreetly placed beneath each breast for precision and it won’t present nerve damage in the nipples.
Dr. Asaadi’s patients do not experience capsular contracture, breast implant leakage, bleeding, or hematoma. In all of Dr. Asaadi’s breast augmentation procedures, he uses the most advanced surgical techniques that results in minimal pain, discomfort, and a shorter recovery time.

Liposuction and natural breast augmentation can be paired together to enhance your physique! This combination procedure enables patients to address multiple areas of concern in one surgery. Liposuction can shape the body while natural fat transfer can add youthful-looking volume to the breasts. Together, these techniques can achieve natural-looking results by taking your own fat from one area of the body and inserting it into the breasts to enhance contours.
Liposuction
Liposuction can remove pockets of excess body fat with precision. A small cannula is inserted underneath the skin to extract unwanted fat cells and improve contours. At Asaadi Plastic Surgery, we offer the latest liposuction techniques, including tumescent liposuction, super wet lipo, and VASER® LipoSelection to achieve optimal results with less healing time than past liposuction methods. Patients can target a variety of areas, including the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. Once fat cells are extracted from the body, they are collected and preserved for the second part of your procedure.
Natural Breast Augmentation
During natural breast augmentation, the fat cells taken from your liposuction procedure are injected into your breasts to enhance volume and to ensure a symmetrical appearance. Because the natural fat transfer technique uses your own fat cells, this procedure can achieve extremely realistic results for patients.

Making the decision to lose a significant amount of weight is a substantial step in your journey to attaining a firmer physique. Further supplementing your weight loss with body contouring procedures can slim down areas of the body where sagging skin is present. After losing a significant amount of weight, excess skin is often left behind; this skin tends to sag and droop, masking your hard-earned results. Undergoing post bariatric surgery can remove and reposition excess skin for firm contours. Moreover, post bariatric surgery can achieve long-lasting results for patients. Below are some areas that post bariatric surgery can target.
Tighten The Midsection
Excess skin around the midsection can be corrected with tummy tuck surgery. During this procedure, sagging skin is removed and re-draped to promote a firmer-looking abdomen. Additionally, stomach muscles that have been stretched and weakened due to weight gain or pregnancy can be tightened with a tummy tuck to eliminate bulging.
Lift The Breasts
Weight loss may affect the size and shape of your breasts. Opting for a breast lift can restore youthful positioning to the breasts. Your NJ plastic surgeon can carefully raise the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening surrounding tissue. Breast lift surgery will also move the nipples and surrounding areolas to a higher position and correct nipple size for perkier-looking, proportional breasts.
Firm The Arms
The presence of lax skin around the upper arms is common after substantial weight loss. This can take away from arm definition, as drooping skin may cover up your musculature. An arm lift can re-drape loose arm skin to improve sagging for slimmer-looking, toned arms.
Contour The Thighs & Buttocks
Patients may notice excess skin around the thighs or buttocks after undergoing weight loss. Thigh lift surgery can improve the aesthetic of your lower body in numerous ways. Excess skin can be removed around the upper legs and buttocks to eliminate laxity. Moreover, repositioning loose skin can correct dimpling and irregularities that contribute to an older-looking appearance. As a result, thigh lift surgery can achieve a firmer, younger-looking lower body.

Thanks to the latest plastic surgery advancements, patients have more breast enhancement options than ever before. For many, breasts begin to sag, droop, or lose volume with age. Moreover, bodily or hormonal changes caused by pregnancy and breastfeeding can alter the appearance of your breasts. Cutting-edge breast surgery techniques allow patients to achieve perkier, symmetrical breasts that compliment your entire profile. At Asaadi Plastic Surgery, we offer solutions to reshape, re-volumize, and even reduce the size of your breasts for long-lasting results. Below are some breast enhancement techniques that may be right for you.
Breast Implants To Fit Your Profile
Breast implants are a popular choice among patients looking to increase breast size or correct asymmetries. Breast implants come in different shapes to ensure your breasts are proportional to the rest of your body. These implants are made of silicone gel or saline for natural-looking texture and can be sized according to the desires of the patient.
Volumize Your Breasts With Natural Fat Transfer
Breast fat transfer uses your body’s natural fat cells to volumize breasts and smooth unevenness. During your natural breast augmentation procedure, fat cells will be collected from a donor site—oftentimes the midsection, thighs, or buttocks—using liposuction. After being extracted, your natural fat is then carefully reinjected into the breasts for natural-looking volume.
Breast Lift Surgery To Firm Sagging Breasts
Some patients wish to provide a lift to drooping breasts. Breast lift surgery can remove and reposition lax breast skin to eliminate sagging. During this procedure, breasts are raised to a more youthful-looking position, resulting in a firmer appearance. Enlarged nipples or the surrounding areolas can also be reduced during your breast lift to ensure proportional results.
Ease Discomfort & Improve Symmetry With Breast Reduction
Overly large breasts can pose both aesthetic and physical issues. Having large breasts may cause your upper body to seem disproportionate in size. Additionally, patients may suffer from discomfort, irritation, and posture issues, caused by the weight of overly large breasts. Breast reduction can remove excess fat and breast tissue to achieve smaller breasts. Lessening the size of your breasts can also reduce the weight being placed on your back and neck, resulting in improved posture and less physical discomfort.

What are the risks of plastic surgery? Is it right for me? Are there less-invasive options? These are all commonly asked questions by patients looking to enhance their look before undergoing plastic surgery. While some patients believe plastic surgery is too invasive and fear “going under the knife”, there are many options that can cosmetically enhance your appearance with less downtime and less risks, yet still achieve beautiful results.
The goal of plastic surgery is always to look and feel natural. Today, plastic surgeons have taken advantage of the advancements of dermal fillers to create non-surgical results that can transform your look as stunningly as traditional plastic surgery. One method that has helped surgeons achieve these results is through fat grafting.
Fat grafting is a less invasive option to traditional surgery but more permanent than cosmetic injectables. Depending on your targeted treatment area, you may smooth wrinkles, eliminate under eye bags, and add volume to breasts or buttocks.
How does fat grafting work?
During fat grafting, your plastic surgeon will extract your body’s very own, natural fat. Fat grafts are commonly taken from the love handles, flanks, stomach, or thighs using gentle liposuction to preserve the fat cells. There are many pros and cons to fat grafting, and your plastic surgeon should work with you to determine if fat grafting is a preferable treatment for you versus traditional cosmetic injectables and dermal fillers.

Non-invasive.

Fat transfer to the breasts may interfere with mammogram testing-requiring further testing.

What can fat grafting be used for?
Wrinkle Treatment: Fat grafting can smooth wrinkles by filling in deep to moderate creases. Fat grafting may also fill sunken or hollow areas for a younger, more natural-looking appearance.
Natural Breast Enhancement: When undergoing breast enhancement, patients have many different implant options to choose from. In some cases, you may choose to opt for natural breast enhancement which uses your own natural fat. Natural breast augmentation can correct breast asymmetry, add additional contouring, and also increase breast size. Learn more about fat grafting for breast augmentation.
Butt Augmentation: Fat transfer to the buttocks is a great way to produce natural-looking curves, correct symmetry and increase size.
Dr. Asaadi stresses that patients should seek a plastic surgeon who is experienced in advance liposuction methods for fat removal. Your plastic surgeon should be sophisticated in fat grafting techniques to help ensure maximum fat survival. While fat grafting is less invasive and reduces the risk of allergic reactions, some patients may be better suited for traditional cosmetic fillers.
