New Jersey Breast Enhancement - Breast Augmentation NJ

POSTED ON THURSDAY, APRIL 30, 2026 AT 4:57 PM by Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi

Breast enhancement targets breast size, shape, and symmetry. Many women seek breast enhancement options following weight loss or pregnancy, to increase confidence, and more.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation uses implants to enhance breast shape and contour while addressing any asymmetry or irregularities. Dr. Asaadi utilizes saline implants to create a natural-looking result, carefully selecting the implant size and shape for each individual patient. Breast augmentation remains one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures with a growing preference for a natural-looking result.

Natural Breast Augmentation

Natural breast augmentation uses your body’s own fat reserves to create a fuller breast shape. This fat grafting method uses excess fat from the stomach, thighs, or buttocks to increase the size of the breasts up to 1 cup size and improve symmetry. Natural breast augmentation is ideal for patients looking for subtle enhancements without implants.

Breast Lift

Breast lift surgery, also known as Mastopexy, reduces breast sagging or drooping by lifting and shaping the breasts for a younger-looking appearance. Over time breasts can begin to sag due to genetics, weight changes, pregnancy, or nursing. Breast lift surgery can be combined with other breast enhancement procedures or performed on it’s own.

What Are The Benefits Of Breast Enhancement?

  • Increase breast size
  • Improve breast shape
  • Enhance contours
  • Reduce asymmetries
  • Youthful-looking results
  • Increase confidence

Why Blepharoplasty Is The Fastest Growing Facial Procedure

POSTED ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2026 AT 2:00 PM by Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi

Fed up with a tired, puffy appearance due to drooping eyelids? Blepharoplasty, commonly known as eyelid surgery, provides rejuvenating results by removing excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery is rapidly becoming one of the most common surgeries, entering the top five in facial cosmetic surgery. A large amount of this can be attributed to men undergoing eyelid surgery and the increase in younger patients undergoing blepharoplasty before significant aging. Blepharoplasty can shape your eyes to your desired appearance and provide a youthful, well-rested, alert appearance.

Choosing The Right Procedure For You

Knowing whether to proceed with upper blepharoplasty, lower blepharoplasty, or both depends on a variety of factors. Upper blepharoplasty is performed to address hooded or sagging eyelids. Hooded eyelids not only create an older and more tired looking appearance, they can also cause vision impairment from excess skin affecting the field of vision. Lower blepharoplasty removes puffy undereye bags creating a seamless transition between the eyes and cheeks. Patients can also opt for both to create a balanced, long-lasting refreshed appearance.

How Is Blepharoplasty Performed?

Eyelid surgery is completed with small incisions in the natural creases of your eyelid. Any excess skin or fat is carefully removed. Your plastic surgeon repositions the facial tissues to reshape and position each layer for your desired results. The incisions are closed with small sutures placed to avoid any noticeable scarring.

Noninvasive Blepharoplasty

Nonsurgical blepharoplasty offers rejuvenation by using cosmetic fillers or Botox®. Fillers can address hollowing, fine lines, or wrinkles around the eyes to provide a smooth, awake appearance. This option allows for a natural-looking result without extensive recovery, but touch-ups are needed.

Festoons & Malar Bags

Festoon surgery is becoming more popular as more patients seek targeted solutions for undereye bags and malar edema that do not respond to nonsurgical treatments. Festoon surgery treats the appearance of swollen undereye bags and dark circles for restored lower eyelids. Malar bag surgery removes pockets of fluid that appear beneath the eye known as malar bags or mounds that contribute to dark circles and bags for a well-rested appearance. With greater patient education, individuals are more informed about addressing the root cause of festoons and malar bags and seeking more permanent solutions.

Choosing The Right Blepharoplasty Surgeon

With the increased popularity in blepharoplasty, it is important to choose an experienced, qualified plastic surgeon. The skin around the eyes is very delicate, making this procedure extremely intricate. If too much skin or fat is removed, it can result in a hollowed-out appearance. Choosing a board-certified plastic surgeon who is experienced with the complexities of the eyes is essential. Dr. Asaadi specializes in cosmetic procedures of the face and body and is known as one of the top eyelid surgeons.

Facial Rejuvenation NJ - Facelift, Neck Lift, & Forehead Lift

POSTED ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 03, 2025 AT 9:00 AM by Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi

The face and neck are among the first areas to show the signs of aging. With time it’s normal to experience a loss of collagen production in the skin leading to a loss in elasticity and firmness. This laxity throughout the face and surrounding areas results in loose, sagging skin and an aged appearance. Facial plastic surgery can help address these signs of aging and provide youthful, revitalized results.

Plastic surgery procedures such as facelift, neck lift, and forehead link address skin laxity and promote skin tightening. These procedures can be performed alone to target specific areas or combined for maximum skin rejuvenation throughout the facial profile.

Facelift Surgery

Facelift surgery provides a younger-looking, radiant appearance. A facelift can reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and jowls by addressing the underlying soft tissue within the facial structure. There are several different types of facelifts available, and the procedure can be combined with different treatments and additional surgeries to provide optimal results.

Neck Lift Surgery

Neck lift surgery addresses skin on the jawline and neck to provide facial rejuvenation results. This procedure treats any excess skin and fat while offering skin tightening. A neck lift can decrease banding in the neck and jowl lines with minimal scarring and downtime. Today’s minimal and non-invasive techniques, such as Kybella and Ultherapy® offer alternatives to surgery while providing natural and youthful results

Forehead Lift Surgery

Forehead lift surgery, also known as a brow lift, targets sagging skin across the forehead and between the eyebrows that contributes to a tired, aged, or unhappy appearance. A forehead lift can provide natural-looking improvements by reducing worry lines, wrinkles, and sagging eyebrows. Traditional brow lifts focus on removing excess skin and fat to minimize the appearance of fine lines. Dr. Asaadi utilizes a short scar temporal brow lift technique to target the corrugator muscles responsible for fine lines and furrows above the eyes.

Facial plastic surgery can address visible signs of aging throughout the facial profile that contribute to a tired, aged look. These procedures can be done on their own to target specific concerns or in combination.

Dr. Asaadi and our staff are happy to answer any questions you may have on facelift, neck lift, forehead lift, and other facial rejuvenation procedures and treatments. Please contact our New Jersey office at 973.731.7000 or request an appointment online today!

Options After Mastectomy - Breast Cancer Reconstruction NJ

POSTED ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 06, 2025 AT 9:00 AM by Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers, affecting over 2 million women annually. At Asaadi Plastic Surgery, we like to take breast cancer awareness month to help educate patients following mastectomy or lumpectomy.

In the United States, over 100,000 women undergo a form of mastectomy annually. Breast reconstruction can restore and revitalize feelings of femininity and sexuality for women following a mastectomy.

What is a Mastectomy?

A mastectomy is a surgery that removes breast tissue from the breast and may additionally require the removal of breast skin, nipple, areola, and underarm lymph nodes. A mastectomy’s purpose is to treat or prevent breast cancer in women. This is an elective procedure where both or one of the breasts will be removed.

Options After Mastectomy

Those who have undergone a mastectomy either choose to avoid any additional procedures after a mastectomy and “go flat” or undergo breast reconstruction. Breast reconstruction recreates the appearance of natural-looking breasts, saline implants maybe placed to restore breast shape and size, or natural breast transfer can be performed.

Breast Reconstruction

While there are various forms of breast reconstruction available, the two most common include implant reconstruction or tissue flap surgery. Implant reconstruction can utilize saline implants to create full, balanced breasts. Dr. Asaadi exclusively uses saline implants to achieve the most realistic and beautiful results. Tissue flap surgery utilizes skin, muscle, and fat from another area of the body and transfers it to the breasts.

What To Expect During Breast Reconstruction?

Breast reconstruction can be performed immediately after a mastectomy or delayed for patient preference or medical reasons, such as continued cancer treatments. Implant reconstruction typically requires two procedures, the first to create a pocket in the chest using a tissue expander and the second to place the implants after the tissue has healed and the expander has been removed. Meanwhile, tissue flap surgery requires a donor site to transfer tissue and rebuild the breast.

What Are The Benefits Of Breast Reconstruction?

Breast reconstruction can have significant benefits for women after a mastectomy. Patients can experience restored balance and body symmetry with natural, proportioned breasts. Breast reconstruction can improve self-esteem, confidence, and a restored sense of femininity.

Breast reconstruction can restore breast shape, size, and appearance. It is important to see a qualified breast reconstruction surgeon who understands and considers your goals and anatomy while constructing your breast reconstruction plan.

Dr. Asaadi and his staff at Asaadi Plastic Surgery are on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding breast reconstruction after mastectomy. Contact our New Jersey office at 913.731.7000, New York office at 212.938.0158, or request an appointment online today.
