Are you considering breast augmentation in New Jersey? Each year, hundreds of thousands of women choose to enhance their curves through breast augmentation surgery. As many women have just begun undergoing breast-enhancing procedures, hoping to fill out bathing suits in time for beach trips and summer’s curve conscious fashions, Dr. Asaadi wants patients to learn what they should know before their breast enhancement in NJ.
“There is a difference when doing breast augmentation as opposed to breast revision and breast reconstruction surgery,” Dr. Asaadi says. “Patients need to know all the advantages and disadvantages of undergoing breast augmentation.”
The outcome of breast augmentation is dependent on surgical techniques and the experience of your plastic surgeon. When performed correctly, patients should not experience leakage of the breasts or any signs of capsular contraction. Unfortunately, many patients fail to visit a board certified plastic surgeon who understands breast augmentation surgery, the anatomy of the patient, and how to choose the best treatment for that patient.
Dr. Asaadi is board certified in plastic surgery and helps educate and inform his patients of everything they need to know and understand before breast enhancement. In fact, 20 years following breast augmentation, Dr. Asaadi’s patients do not even realize they have implants. In the last 22 years, Dr. Asaadi has only used saline implants, and the rate of secondary procedures on his patients who received breast augmentation mammoplasty remains less than 1%. “At my practice, we do not have patients with capsular contraction, leakage of the implant, infection, bleeding, or hematoma. They do not need drains or dressings following surgery,” he says. “My patients wear a soft bra immediately following their breast enhancing procedure.” His gentle and meticulous surgical techniques leave patients with only minimal pain and discomfort.
According to national statistics, 25% of breast implants call for a secondary procedure following breast augmentation because the first surgery was not performed correctly. “You cannot do this procedure half-hazardly,” he advises. “It is important to have breast augmentation performed perfectly the first time to avoid problems later in life,” he says. Questions to consider when visiting your plastic surgeon for breast augmentation surgery include:
What is the size implant suitable for me?
The size of the implant patients receive should be fit the patient’s chest, base of the breast, thickness of the breast, and other anatomy of the patient. Just like a shoe size, patients should choose the size implant that fits the size of their chest. If you have a larger chest for example, you may opt for a larger implant. Patients with a smaller, tighter chest however, should not choose an overly large implant to ensure safety and to avoid complications with the implant following breast augmentation.
What type of implant fits my individual anatomy?
The most famous questions patients ask before their breast augmentation remains, should I use silicone or saline implants? Both silicone and saline implants have advantages and disadvantages, however, Dr. Asaadi prefers to use the saline implants due to their natural feel, look, and shape.
Where will the surgeon be placing my implant?
Your plastic surgeon can insert your implant through four different areas. These areas include the armpit, around the areola, the stomach, and under the fold of the breast. Dr. Asaadi cautions against having the implant inserted through the breast tissue, as there becomes a greater risk of developing biofilm, which can lead to capsular contraction. Capsular contraction causes hardness of the breast, leading to complications that often require patients to have another surgery.
Enhance your curves in time for summer and go into your surgery educated and with the right plastic surgeon. Spring into your new body with a Mommy Makeover in New Jersey! After pregnancy, many women find all of their time devoted to taking care of their beautiful newborn baby. Take some time to treat yourself this spring season! At the office of Dr. Asaadi, our NJ plastic surgeon is dedicated to offering the innovative plastic surgery techniques in the quickly advancing medical field. In fact, he is the pioneer of several post-pregnancy, body enhancing procedures, including Core Abdominoplasty in New Jersey! In addition to Core Abdominoplasty, Dr. Asaadi offers mothers several options to discovering an enhanced figure following the birth of their newborn. Learn about the individual procedures we offer that may help you following pregnancy below!
Tummy Tuck: One of the most sought procedures following pregnancy, the tummy tuck in New Jersey removes both excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen and tightens the muscles of the abdominal wall. In addition, the tummy tuck procedure will correct stretch marks and reform the belly button. In patients with good skin elasticity Dr. Asaadi may suggest liposuction in conjunction with the tummy tuck. Learn more about the tummy tuck below.
Breast Lift: Both pregnancy and nursing can affect the size, shape, and elasticity of the breasts. Breast Lift in New Jersey offers women restored curves and an enhanced feminine figure by lifting and reshaping the breasts. Many patients choose to combine breast lift with breast implants to increase both firmness and size.
MAsterTuck: Dr. Asaadi’s signature MAsterTuck is ideal for patients with excess abdominal skin and fatty tissue. Unlike traditional methods of liposuction, the MAsterTuck promotes significant skin contraction in the truncal area, for smoother contours. The MAsterTuck in NJ is not performed on patients with weak abdominal muscle.
Core Abdominoplasty: Towards the end of pregnancy, it is normal for a woman’s abdominal muscles to separate, accommodating room for the baby to grow. As a result, many women experience lost tone and elasticity to their abdomen muscles following the birth of their newborn child. Core Abdominoplasty tightens these stomach muscles, restoring and tightening the muscles of the stomach. Core Abdominoplasty at our NJ office uses the table-tilt test. During the table tilt test the back of the operating table is lifted to a 45 degree angle. This allows Dr. Asaadi to detect any excess areas of abdominal bulge. Learn more about Core Abdominoplasty in the video below!

Do you find yourself dieting and exercising without noticeable results? During the winter, many of us gain weight from holiday dinners and uncomfortable frigid temperatures preventing outdoor activities. By the time the spring comes around, we start planning our dream bodies, but for those who struggle to lose weight, sculpting areas of stubborn fat can sometimes lead to disappointment and discouragement when we still aren’t at our ideal weight when summer hits.
While an unresponsive diet and exercise routine may not work for a variety reasons, some common explanations of why patients simply cannot lose weight include genetics, age, and even simply not having enough time or willpower. As medical technology moves forward however, it is becoming easier for our NJ Plastic Surgeon to offer patients less invasive techniques to help shape the contours of the body for achievable results that diet and exercise may fail to provide.
One of the most common procedures people turn to for body sculpting today is Liposuction. The common Liposuction procedure removes fat from the body but often leaves behind loose and sagging skin. However, with today’s innovations in medicine, our NJ plastic surgeon, Dr. Asaadi, can provide a patient with one surgery to achieve the beautiful results of Liposuction without sagging skin. Known as Vaser Liposelection in NJ, this procedure promotes significant skin tightening.
Vaser Liposelection uses advanced ultrasound technology to emulsify fat. Only targeting fat cells, Vaser Lipo preserves the tight, fibrous tissue that is essential to help skin contract following surgery. Dr. Asaadi commonly uses Vaser Liposelection with his signature MAsterTuck procedure.
Visit our before & after gallery and see the amazing results of Vaser Liposelection.

MAsterTuck removes large areas of fat unresponsive to diet and exercise. Using Vaser Liposelection, the MAsterTuck is perfect for the trunk of the body and is sometimes combined with Breast Lift to help patients achieve an overall look of perfection with smooth and beautiful results Liposuction alone can’t provide. The right candidate will have the right amount of skin laxity and no hanging skin. Learn more about MAsterTuck in NJ below.
When diet and exercise aren’t enough, re-gain your confidence by sculpting and shaping your contours and re-discover your body shape with Vaser Lipo. Take the next step to your dream body today. Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about Vaser Liposelection. Contact our New Jersey office at 212.731.7000, or you may request an appointment online today!

Are you prepared to spend the night looking your best this Valentine’s Day? It’s not too late to take advantage of a rejuvenated appearance in time for the heart felt holiday thanks to Juvederm® in New Jersey. Prepare your kiss, and plump up your pucker with this non-invasive cosmetic injectable!
While many people are born with small or thin lips, the most common cause of thinning lips is due to the breakdown of collagen as we age. Other factors that can contribute to thin lips include family genetics, repeated pursing or puckering, dehydration, overexposure to the sun, and smoking. Today, achieving fuller lips is easier than ever thanks Juvederm® in NJ.
In addition to beautiful, fuller looking lips, Juvederm® can smooth facial lines, helping you re-discover your look of youth. Similar to the breakdown of collagen in the lips, your skin may also experience lost collagen with age or sun exposure, resulting in lost elasticity, fine lines, wrinkles, and folds.
Juvederm® is a smooth consistency gel made of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is perfectly safe as it is a naturally occurring substance in your skin. Its role in the skin is to deliver nutrients, as well as hydrate. In addition, hyaluronic acid can be found in tissue space, the synovial fluid of joints, and the vitreous humour of the eyes, acting as a binding, lubricating, and protective agent.
As one of the first FDA approved dermal fillers in New Jersey, Juvederm® has helped patients rediscover their youth with a natural, long lasting appearance. Since Juvederm® uses cross-linked hyaluronic acid, the body will absorb it more slowly, ultimately resulting in longer lasting results.
During your treatment for fuller lips, Dr. Asaadi will carefully inject Juvederm® into the lips to restore lost volume. To treat facial wrinkles and folds, Dr. Asaadi will insert Juvederm® under the skin, filling and smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds.
After injection, some patients may experience a small amount of swelling or redness for the first few days. Within the first 24 hours, patients may also be asked to avoid strenuous activity. Most patients find that Juvederm lasts from 9 months up to 1 year.
Speak I love you with irresistible lips and a confident appearance. Schedule your appointment for Juvederm® in New Jersey with Dr. Asaadi today! If winter’s chill is making you dream of sandy shores and the sun’s warm rays, prepare for your fantasy with Breast Augmentation in NJ! Get a head start on your dream body now so you can show off your new curves later! Breast Augmentation in New Jersey has also helped women rejoice after breast cancer surgery, providing hope, strength, and confidence.
In addition to restoring curves after breast cancer surgery, women opt to increase the size of their breast for a number of reasons. These reasons include to enhance body contour, correct loss of volume after pregnancy or weight loss, and balance a difference in breast size. Also known as Mammoplasty, NJ Breast Augmentation gives patients the feminity, youth, and beauty they deserve. At the office of NJ Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi, we offer several options when it comes to breast enhancement. Understanding the similarities and differences between your options will better assist your when choosing Breast Augmentation.
Silicone Implants contain a silicone gel whereas Saline Implants are salt-water based. When receiving breast implants, some women may require skin expansion. Skin expansion stretches the skin, creating room for permanent implants. During skin expansion, Dr. Asaadi will insert a balloon expander beneath the skin and chest muscle. Through a tiny valve, he will inject a salt-water solution over the course of several weeks to months. Once the skin is stretched enough, the expansion will be removed and your silicone or saline implants will be put into place.
Learn more about NJ Mammoplasty.
During implant reconstruction, some patients may require flap reconstruction in order to support implants. This procedure allows for breast reconstruction using your own tissue. There are two types of flaps; pedical and free. Pedical flaps take skin, tissue, or muscles from other parts of your body with the vessels attached. Free flaps however, involve detaching these vessels and then reconnecting them at the insertion area with microsurgery. Once the flap is completed, implants are inserted.
In addition to saline and silicone implants, Dr. Asaadi offers Natural Breast Augmentation. This innovative procedure gives women the option to increase breast size using their own fat cells. These fat cells are collected from other areas of the body, known as donor areas, including the tummy, thighs, or love handles. Donor fat cells are then placed in the breast for a natural approach and appearance.
It may be easy to cover up in the frigid of winter, but once summer comes, don’t be unprepared! Learn more about breast augmentation in NJ.
