Deep creases and fine lines, hollowed cheeks, and sagging skin are all natural parts of the aging process. Gravity, exposure to the elements, and constant muscle use in facial expression all contribute to their development. Using the latest advances in cosmetic facial rejuvenation procedures, patients can minimize the appearance of the most visible signs of aging. By using fat transfer injections in combination with a facelift, Dr. Asaadi is able to restore fullness to the face and cheeks and to fill in fine lines between the brows and in temporal areas at the same time that he tightens underlying facial muscles and removes excess skin and fat from the face. With this combination of procedures, Dr. Asaadi has been able to offer his patients dramatic results.

The process of transferring fat cells is very technically dependent. In order for the transfer to be successful, the cells must remain intact and viable. The best and longest-lasting fat transfer results are to the areas of the face that see less movement, such as the forehead and temporal area. While fat transfer injections can also be used to add volume to the lips and smooth fine lines around the mouth, the results are typically not as long lasting because the areas are frequently mobilized.
In addition to addressing the visible signs of aging, injecting intact and viable fat cells under the facial skin offers the exciting possibility of a better overall skin quality because of the stem cell properties found in the fat.

Ultherapy® is a nonsurgical, skin tightening procedure which uses ultrasound waves to restore a more firm and youthful appearance to a patient’s face and neck. The sound waves penetrate through the surface layers of skin to tighten deep tissue, tissue which would previously have needed more invasive surgical procedures. Ultherapy® New York is the only non-invasive facial rejuvenation procedure that can rejuvenate both the surface and deep tissues of the face and neck.
Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi can administer Ultherapy® in-office in any of his in New York and New Jersey plastic surgery offices. During the procedure, Dr. Asaadi will target specific areas of skin in the neck and face with focused ultrasound waves. The sound waves do produce heat, so the patient may feel some discomfort. Dr. Asaadi will accommodate you to ensure that the entire procedure is as comfortable as possible. The procedure may take 30 to 60 minutes, and patients may engage in normal daily activities immediately afterward. Although swelling and tenderness of the treated area of skin is common, this side effect will only last a few days to a week; the patient can look forward to firmer, more youthful appearing skin within a few months.
