Overcoming Nasal Surgery & Malar Bags

At Asaadi Plastic Surgery, we’re thankful to have the opportunity to make our patients look and feel better about themselves. Reconstructive surgery offers that opportunity to many individuals, helping achieve a rediscovered look of beauty and confidence.

One of our patients came to Dr. Asaadi after suffering from nasal cancer and malar bags. After an initial evaluation, Dr. Asaadi was able to remove the cancer and reconstruct her nose using a forehead flap. The procedure utilized a section of tissue between her eyebrows and hairline to reconstruct her nose. In combination with the forehead flap, the patient received a short-scar foreheadplasty to remove sagging and wrinkles from her forehead region. Dr. Asaadi also addressed the malar bags underneath her eyes by performing a procedure called blepharoplasty, helping to give the patient an alert, rejuvenated appearance. Additionally, the patient’s corrugator muscle, a muscle between the brows responsible for permanent frowning, was removed to give the face a younger appearance, in addition to her reconstructed, cancer-free nose. Check out her results!
